Our Brand New Website

In keeping with our policy of endeavoring to always provide a high quality service to our users, Vox Pops International is proud to announce the launch of our brand new website.

The culmination of many months of hard work, we are excited to share the news of this with you today, and tell you about all the new features that we have implemented to improve your experience with us online.

Of course with any project as large as this, there may be a few bugs that you encounter with the new system. If you do happen to find one of these bugs we invite you to share them with us so we can fix them up as soon as possible for you. You can let us know of any bugs you find by filling out a bug report.

Alternatively, if you can think of anything you feel would improve your user experience on the website, you can send us your suggestions. All suggestions we receive will be looked at by our team, and if possible we will implement them as soon as we can.

We have launched this website to make sure that you get the best possible experience with us online, so please don’t be shy, share your thoughts with us and together we can ensure that your time on our website caters to any need you may have.

So with the announcement made let us tell you about all the new features and changes you will find on the website, why they have been implemented and what this means for you moving forward.

New Features

The New Vox Pops Account

One key feature of the new website is that we have created a new Vox Pops account feature for those of you who wish to earn with us by either appearing in our videos or referring people who end up appearing in our videos. By signing up to a Vox Pops account you are instantly put into our referral scheme and provided a unique link which you can give to people to create their own accounts. If anyone who signs up using your link is used in any of our videos you get paid. Its that simple.

Additionally if you wish to appear in one of our videos yourself, you can join our participant pool from your account area by agreeing to the terms and conditions and answering as many of our questions as you feel comfortable answering. If you are chosen to be in one of our videos you will of course be paid for your time. This means you can earn two ways through just the one account with us. New Booking System

Another part of your user experience that we were keen to improve with our new website, was the ease in which you can reach us with your queries about our services. We took on board your feedback about our old website and have implemented a new booking system where you can easily book a free consultation with one of our experts.

By clicking or tapping the book consultation button located at the top right hand corner of our website, you will be taken through to our in house booking system. Here you can select which consultation best suits your needs and the system will give you a a selection of time slots we have available based on the availability of our team.

On creating your booking you will receive an email with a link to join your online consultation that will go live at your selected time. You can change or cancel your booking should your situation change and all of our consultations are offered free of charge.

Should you wish to book a meeting with a specific member of our team, you can do that too! All you need to do is use the book meeting link located under the profiles of our team on our about us page. You can also click on a team member’s profile picture to email them directly.

New Chat Feature

Of course we understand that sometimes you have a quick question that doesn’t require a full consultation with the team. As such we have implemented a new chat feature so you can message us and get the information you are looking for quickly and efficiently.

By clicking the chat icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen a chat window will pop up that connects you to any team member that is available at the time. Simply provide your name and email so that we can reach you should our team need to get back to you, and you will be connected to us and able to ask whatever questions you may have.

At the end of the chat session you the chat transcript will be emailed to you so that you can have it for your records should you need to refer back to it in the future.

Should for any reason the team be unavailable to answer the chat at that exact moment you can leave us a message and these will get picked up and replied to as soon as possible.

Cookie Control 

With the new site we were also keen to ensure that you have full control of your data and the ability to revisit your choices at any point. To make this possible we have put in place a system where you can manage your privacy settings with ease.

When the website first loads you will be prompted to set your cookie settings in accordance to GDPR requirements. As a video production company we have many embedded videos throughout the website from both Vimeo and YouTube. We embed from these platforms to reduce strain on our servers and make the website as fast as possible for you the user. Unfortunately videos streamed from these platforms require certain cookies to work. So if you find yourself needing to change your cookies settings at any point we have made it easy to do so.

By clicking or tapping on the cookie icon in the bottom left hand side of your screen you can revisit and reset your choices at any point. This means you will always have full control over what data we collect. Other Changes

New Fully Responsive Design

It wouldn’t be a new website without a new refreshed design! As such we have fully updated the look and feel of the website to better reflect the quality of our brand and bring it up to date with the latest web standards.

Care has been made to ensure each page looks and works great across any device or browser to ensure you get a great experience no matter what you are using to view our website.

We have also made substantial improvements to our website’s navigation to make finding the information you are looking for easier than ever. We have categorised our news articles into streamlined categories and have built our news page to make finding and reading our latest posts a breeze.

Lastly we have added more information to each of our service pages that answers some of the more frequently asked questions we receive. We have done this so that we can ensure you are getting exactly the information you are looking for when reading our content.

Faster Load Times

One thing we are very proud of is the increased performance and load times of our website. We are working everyday to improve this as much as possible for every part of our website. We are doing this to ensure that your time with us is spent getting the information you are looking for and not spent waiting for things to load.

Our team is always looking to improve in this area but you should all have noticed a tangible difference in performance from our old website. To do this we have implemented a comprehensive caching setup and a global CDN (content delivery network) to make sure that no matter where you are in the world you are getting the website sent to you from a sever near you.

At Vox Pops we appreciate your time is valuable so we aim to take as little of it up as possible. With the new features and improvements we have made, almost all of them have been designed to save you time. We truly hope you like our new website as much as we do and we welcome any and all feedback or comments you may have.
