Wrapping up the year

As 2025 winds down, we’ve been looking back on the work that made us laugh, made us proud, and reminded us why we love what we do.

This year we captured something like 5 million minutes of footage across vox pops, video diaries, interviews, ethnography, events, animation and social content. We’ve been lucky to work with brilliant partners including OMD, Cvent, RHS, Sky, PepsiCo, Co-Operative, Vodafone, PHD, HSBC, Education First, and plenty more.

Although a lot of what we make is created in partnership with teams who need their work kept under wraps, we still wanted to share some highlights from the year, and that includes a brilliant mix of research, marketing and communications projects.

Below are just 5 minutes of video highlights from the year. Each one has been chosen by someone on the team, with a line on what we did differently and what we’re excited to build on next year. We’ve also included a few resources we made this year in case they’re useful for you or your team.

Video highlights

Di, Founder

A project highlight this year is…PHD Anticipation Studies

Becauseit’s an interesting subject that we’re researching – all about how anticipation is shaping life in the UK today. We interviewed 30 respondents in multiple cities, and the videos will support a wider research presentation next year. We’ve really had to get involved with the public, which is why I like it – that’s what we’re all about.

What I’m most looking forward to in 2026 is…running workshops with our clients and launching our first ever webinar series!

Alice, Senior Producer

A project I really enjoyed this year is...Cvent CONNECT Europe

Because…I was given creative freedom by the client to direct and produce something special – a mini documentary that showed the people and processes behind the main event. We produced vlog-style content using a mix of self-filming and curated interviews to drive the narrative.

What I’m most looking forward to in 2026 is…working with even more incredible brands and creating engaging content that lives beyond the screen.

Pete, Creative Director

A project highlight this year is...Automated Animations

Becausewe’ve been building a faster way of turning information into engaging video content. By creating reusable systems and templates, we’re offering clients content on demand. It’s been technically challenging, but exciting to build from the ground up.

What I’m most looking forward to in 2026 ispushing ahead with innovation, launching new services for our clients, and collaborating with our amazing team.

James, Videographer & Editor

A project I really enjoyed this year is…Buyagift Social Campaign

Becausewe put influencers and the public together, creating the funniest interviews that felt human and memorable. It was great to work on a social brief where you’ve really got to think about what the audience wants – entertainment – and it paid off! One of our videos was used in a competition that generated 723 likes and 1,368 comments.

What I’m most looking forward to in 2026 iscreating more social media content that entertains and educates audiences while helping businesses reach new audiences.

Olivia, Senior Producer

A project highlight this year isUnilever World Tour

Because...we captured ethnography at scale, bringing together self-filmed diaries from around the world that felt human, personal, and reflective of day-to-day life.

What I’m most looking forward to in 2026 iscontinuing to capture real life moments and turning them into stories that travel across teams and markets.

Guy, Post Production Manager

A project I really enjoyed this year is…RHS Video Postcards

Because...we stayed close to the social media trends of the summer and used them as a springboard to create something fresh for RHS that showcased our skills in filmmaking. It was great to try a new idea in a fast, responsive way, while still supporting their wider video strategy.

What I’m most looking forward to in 2026 isalways staying at the pulse of trending content and showcasing to our clients that these ideas are always achievable to them – even if they don’t know it yet!

Frankie, Marketing Lead

A project highlight this year is…Pool Shoots

Because...the Vox Pops Pool has been a great way for clients to get video insight quickly. We’ve loved seeing how useful vox pops are for internal research, while also seeing how strongly they perform online. Audiences want real voices and stories, and that’s what we’re all about.

What I’m most looking forward to in 2026 isshowcasing the team and their work – let’s see what 2026 brings.

Resources for you

Alongside client projects, we’ve also been busy behind the scenes, bringing people together, sharing what we’re learning, and exploring how video can create impact across teams.

Making an Impact Event: We hosted our own event, bringing together brilliant minds across research and marketing, so they could share their experience of using video and storytelling to drive results. If you missed it, you can get the highlights via the link below.

🎥 Watch the event recap.

Expert Voices Podcast: We launched a podcast series, sitting down with guests from Sky, Just Eat, and Meta to chat about what research looks like in their worlds, how video has helped them, and how they’re planning for the future.

🎧 Listen to the podcast.

Using Video in Business 2025 Report: We published a survey exploring how video can transform how businesses work, collaborate, and grow. It’s a useful read for insight and marketing teams, and still available on our site.

Giving back

This year, we’ve also made space for work that supports the communities around us. Since becoming a B Corp, it matters to us that we use our skills to give back and make a positive impact to our community.

This year we partnered with FeastyFest (a not-for-profit festival organiser) to film their event and support their marketing. We also supported Crisis by producing vox pops designed to spark interest and action on social media.

Behind the scenes, we’ve continued making monthly contributions to Plan International and Shelter, and this Christmas we’ve also made donations to Barnardo’s and The Samaritans.

One last thing

A massive thank you to every client, partner, contributor and participant who gave us their time, trust and energy. You made the work what it is.
