The Challenge
Radiocentre aimed to create a fun, engaging video that highlighted the power of a catchy slogan, reinforcing the idea that you don’t need pictures to tell a compelling story.
The goal was to demonstrate how memorable slogans and jingles from over the years have stayed with audiences, proving that audio alone can be just as impactful as visuals.

“This is brilliant! Thanks so much for doing it, it’s really fun and you’ve got a great range of people.”

The Approach
To bring this message to life, we took to the streets to put people’s memory skills to the test! The game was simple: guess the slogan.
Our behind the camera interviewer would start a well known jingle – for example, “Did somebody say…” and the respondent had to finish it “Just Eat!”
We tested five iconic jingles:
- Did somebody say… (Just Eat)
- A! O! (Let’s Go)
- Washing machines live longer… (with Calgon)
- Ba da ba ba… (I’m lovin’ it)
- Autoglass repair… (Autoglass replace)
We played the game with ten respondents, capturing a mix of reactions – from instant reactions and people singing with confidence to hilariously wrong guesses. The footage was then edited into a short, snappy video for social platforms, showcasing just how powerful (and memorable) audio can be.
The Impact
Radiocentre shared the video across their social platforms, with a custom end sting added to maximise impact and reach. This featured the lines: “You don’t need pictures to tell a story”, “Audio – it just works” and “See radio differently at radiocentre.org”, reinforcing the campaign message and driving audiences to find out more.
Beyond showcasing real consumers recalling iconic slogans and jingles, the video also doubled as a promotional tool for Radiocentre’s podcast, which explored the same theme – extending the conversation and amplifying the campaign’s impact.
“Absolutely love the video! This will create a great social post and content for training.”
