The Challenge
Outernet needed compelling evidence that their Now Trending building is a powerful platform for family-facing brands. With Pinkfong’s Baby Shark Easter activation running from 30th March to 12th April, the opportunity was right there, a buzzing, joyful event filled with exactly the audience brands want to reach. The challenge: capture that energy in a format that would genuinely convince future commercial partners, not just describe it.
Outernet needed a way to show, not just say, that their Now Trending building is a serious platform for family-facing brands. With Pinkfong’s Baby Shark Easter activation running, the timing was perfect. A buzzing, joyful event, and exactly the right audience.
The brief: capture it and create content that would do the talking in every future commercial conversation.

The Approach
Our crew worked across two days of the live activation. We weren’t there to stage anything; we were there to catch what was already happening. Families discovering the space. Kids going wide-eyed at the installation. Parents filming their children on their phones while we filmed the whole thing properly.
Alongside the vox pop interviews, where we stopped real families and let them tell it in their own words, we shot b-roll throughout the activation: children interacting with the space, groups gathering, the energy of the crowd, the little moments that make an event feel alive. That combination is what makes the final content land. The interviews give you the voice; the b-roll gives you the world around it.
When your subject is a five-year-old losing their mind over Baby Shark, you don’t need a script. You just need to be there, ready, with the camera rolling. Vox pops are instant, authentic, and impossible to fake, exactly what brands need to see when they’re deciding where to put their budget.
The Impact
The result is more than just a highlight reel. Outernet now has authentic proof of the experience it offers families, capturing genuine moments of excitement, wonder and connection. It’s content that gives future clients confidence, turning real audience reactions into one of the most persuasive sales tools they can take into every pitch. It sells the space better than any rate card.
“The footage brings the campaign to life in a way that traditional case studies simply can’t. By capturing genuine family reactions, we’ve created compelling proof of audience engagement that strengthens our sales conversations and gives prospective clients confidence in what’s possible at Outernet.“
